I am writing today to share that this project has been the hardest, most vulnerable, time consuming, biggest learning lesson, and greatest experience of my life. Since owning my own company and having the album released under my production company; there is so much that goes behinds the scenes. We have finished a 15 full track album and is now in the process of mastering for radio edit. I am so excited, so proud, and ready for this album to come out. I wanted to share more behind the scenes and what the journey has been coming down to the finish line.

During the past 10 months, I have dedicated almost 30 hours a week towards songwriting, singing, producing, working with so many creatives, engineers, studios, and legalities. For those that don’t know, its not just you go into the studio and record a song, and its done. Once you record, you then have to mix with producers and engineers, master for sound quality and qualifications for it to stream on global platforms. After mastering you have to copywrite and get publishing rights in order to own the song. Once that is done, then you contract with global platforms to stream and use your music. In order to get 100% of your music, it is a process. And that is just one song. One song could take a week, others can take a month. I really wanted to make sure I had songs on this album that resognated with me and my personal experiences that I think the aucdience would love. Now that we are on the home stretch, all tracks have to be sound qualified as a whole album project to proceed to sell. I cannot believe that we are almost done. I do not have a release date, but the album will be coming out in April.

I have to say that working with so many creatives, directors, choregrphers, cinematographers, other artists, etc. has been such a blessing on this journey. We have all worked hard to make this project amazing. I personally, want this album to be better and different than my first album “REBUILDING.” Although the album will remain pop with other elements of R&B/HIP-HOP, I hope you all love it as much as I do.
